Auggie Awards

The annual Auggie Awards have been the most recognized AR & VR industry awards in the world since 2010. Now in their 15th year, the Auggies continue to showcase the best of the best in augmented, virtual and mixed reality.

As the XR industry grows, so too does AWE, along with the opportunity to further recognize outstanding AR/VR achievements with the Auggie Awards. 2023 saw a record number of nominations, which highlighted a need for some new categories that have now been added:

• Best Climate Change Solution – Following on from 2023’s XR Prize to recognize AR/VR solutions that help to flight climate change;
• Best Content Creator(s) – To recognize excellent content contributions to the XR industry;
• Best Education & Training Solution – To recognize the increasing number of solutions that employ XR to educate and train;
• Best Web3 Implementation – To recognize platforms that utilize Web3 technology as related to spatial computing.

Winners will be presented with a prestigious Auggie Award at the Auggie Awards Ceremony, taking place this year on June 19 at the AWE USA 2024 event in Long Beach, California.
