As part of our educational events for 2024, Tech Lab is hosting an event for agency investment and media buying teams to provide education on crucial Tech Lab technical standards that impact agencies and their brand clients, what problems they solve, what insights they produce, how to use them effectively, and why they matter in language that agencies and their clients understand and care about.

 

Potential Topics: 

  • What signals are available to identify Made For Advertising inventory?
  • What signals are available to combat fraud while ensuring a greener supply chain?
  • An overview of existing and Incoming Privacy Regulations and the Tech Lab frameworks that support compliance protecting the marketer.
  • How the Tech Lab has created a standardized viewability framework across browser, mobile and connected TV via the Open Measurement SDK – how marketers can use the data to measure viewability across all media environments.
  • Updated Video Placement Definitions that more accurately describe video inventory and fundamentally revalue video inventory by removing the ability to describe video placements that are not the focus of the page as Instream.
  • How media buyers should approach Retail Media Networks when bidding on retailer on-site inventory or using retailer data alongside existing ORTB attributes across the open web. This would also include a roundtable discussion on ways to update Tech Lab specifications to better support the particulars of RMNs.
