METexpo 2022

The media, entertainment and creative production industries, are being rapidly disrupted in many ways, including the challenges in 2020 driven in a large part by the impacts of Covid-19. METexpo 2019 was the conference and show that was created with this context in mind and shaped by a range of industry and member engagements and feedback. In the lead up to, during, and post event, we have continued to engage with our members and the industry community to deliver an even more focussed event in 2021 to meet the needs of the membership, visitors and the participants in the show. We are working with our long-term partner Expertise Events to deliver a conference and exhibition that hits the high quality that members and visitors expect. The key highlights of METexpo 22 - Sydney conference to be based in a new location that will integrate more smoothly the conference and exhibition in one unified space at the ICC. - The date of the event moves to August to deliver a landmark Australian based media, entertainment and technology show and conference ahead of any international shows in 2021. - There will be two dedicated conference streams exploring the technology standards and innovation, with ground breaking local and international papers and presenters. - There will be ample opportunities to engage strongly with the industry product and service community including two early evening social events.
