Beet Retreat Santa Monica

Santa Monica Beach Hotel
November 9-11, 2021

The Beet Retreat, one of the industry’s most talked about gatherings of high-level media executives, will take place at the Loews, Santa Monica Beach Hotel, November 9-11, 2022.

The event will involve three days of high-level panels, group conversations, one-on-one video interviews and extraordinary networking events and interactions.

Part industry enclave and part a made-for-TV setting, the event will provide essential industry intelligence and connections with the people who are leading the industry. For the participants, it will provide exposure via videos on Beet.TV along with high-impact social media. The Retreat will provide unique business development opportunities and enduring professional relationships.

We will be working with a small group of sponsoring partners to develop our plans for the event – helping to set the industry’s agenda for the 2020’s. The partners will play a key role in helping to curate the event and develop the sessions, working with Beet to jointly create content and session formats. This includes programming, speaking opportunities, private pitch sessions, and real engagement with the industry.

The event is limited to just 50 speaking participants, who will also contribute video interviews. The Retreat is limited to only 175 attendees.

The Theme

Following our successful San Juan Retreat this year, our plan for the Santa Monica Retreat is to tackle some of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the industry – exploring new solutions, different approaches and opportunities for collaborative action to help the industry move forward in the 2020s.

Along the way, we’ll also explore how changing consumer preferences and new service launches are transforming the TV and premium video marketplace, deep diving into the latest developments in streaming and OTT, data and audience targeting, measurement and attribution, and international opportunities.
